What is Moodletxt? Moodletxt integrates the Edutxt service with Moodle

What can students do with Moodletxt? Anonymously send SMS messages (tagged with a keyword) to a course mobile number – cost lies with the student. Only the tutor can view the student messages.

What can staff do with Moodletxt? Inspect their (edutxt) inbox via Moodle to pick up student messages Send texts (with student consent) to groups or individuals on their unit – cost lies with the institution

How do you get started? Ask your Moodle administrator to install the Moodletxt plugin and set up the link with your txttools account Add the Moodletxt block to your Moodle course and test Develop a plan for SMS communication in your unit Explain/negotiate your use of texting with your students
