Listen & Think About the Topic Use Appropriate Body Language Good eye contact Nodding your head Face the speaker Speak with an appropriate volume

Raise Your Hand if You Want the Teacher to Call on You What question do you need to ask? Who should you ask? When should you ask? Ask in a friendly way.

Stay on the Topic Stay on the subject until ALL the information has been shared. No off-the-wall comments. Keep the discussion going.

Let Others Talk, Too Be brief; tell about small parts of the story. Try not to do all of the talking in a conversation – SHARE. Watch your listeners.
