Natural Habitats & Natural Resources L.O: To explore different ways natural habitats are being destroyed Quick Task: In the back of your book list as many natural habitats as possible

What do we mean by natural habitats? Habitats (homes)

Natural resources An increasing global population needs more resources. We all need uncontaminated food and water supplies, shelter, clothing and good health care. No-one can blame humans for wanting to support themselves and their families but the problem is...we are using up natural resources too quickly!

Religious attitudes Many individual religious believers probably waste as many resources as non-religious believers. However religious teaching make it clear to Christians that the Earth belongs to God. Humans not only have a duty to care for the planet but for other human beings. Religions all think we should preserve the earth, but we should also preserve human life and human needs too.

REFER TO ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES EXAMINATION SKILLS: “STATEMENT”. Do you agree? Explain your opinion.
