Introduction to the ELIPTIC User Forum 13 November 2015, Berlin Yannick Bousse, UITP

About the ELIPTIC User forum Assessment and validation of the ELIPTIC concepts and results Independent expertise Meet twice yearly Updates on the latest developments in your cities Confidentiality Aggregated data The objective of the ELIPTIC User Group is to enlarge the assessment and validation of the ELIPTIC concepts and results through independent expertise. The group will meet on a bi-annual basis and provide updates on the latest developments in their cities so that forum members can learn from each another experience. Through the User Forum assessments, the ELIPTIC Consortium will be able to widen its results, adapting them better to the needs of public transport operators and authorities. Workshops will also include relevant site visits. All data collected from ELIPTIC User Forum members will by aggregated for inclusion in reports. Individual data will be kept confidential.

What is expected of participants in the User Forum? Active participation in twice yearly meetings Providing updates on the latest electric public transport developments in their city Complete surveys Contribute to the project development Validate project results Surveys every meeting with varying degrees of depth. Next meeting the survey will be more in depth. Follow the members and learn from them. By participating to the meetings they are contributing to the project development The first three points are the real actions we will ask of them and the last two follow from those. We expect representation of the organisation twice a year.

First-hand information on the latest research results on the optimisation of electric public transport Influencing the technical and political development of ELIPTIC Topical site visits and presentations Exchange with other electric public transport users at one-day workshops International networking opportunities Reimbursement of travel and accommodation costs Influencing the technical and political development of ELIPTIC: this project is trying to make a larger difference on an EU level and they can be part of that by influencing ELIPTIC.

We send them just a few pages in advance of the meetings and as them to review based on their experience. Reimbursment procedure for UITP User Forum members Travel expenses covered up to 600€ Flight/train, accommodation, subsistence, local other costs Original receipts and boarding passes to provided Fill in bank account details and sign the form Email to UITP the form and a scan of your receipts Once approved, send original signed form and originals receipts and boarding passes by post to UITP
