WWI Note Pg 50 As we read handout together – you need to Define the following terms. Selective Service Act American Expeditionary Force (AEF) – make sure to include the commanders name 3. 369th Regiment

Propaganda Posters Propaganda posters were created during World War I to increase American support for the war effort Propaganda posters dealt with various issues, such as, war bonds, rationing, and volunteerism War bonds – certificates where you loan money to the government during a time of war Rationing – use less of something to save it Volunteerism – for military service

Technology Match We are going to take a look at 9 military advancements that impacted World War I. You will read and excerpt and you will need to find the technology it represents. Once you have found the correct technology (check with teacher if you are not sure) you will need to read the handout in the folder and review the included diagram to compete the following chart. Repeat until you have seen all 9 and finished the chart.
