Centenary University Proxy Authorization Bursar’s Office

Go to: https://selfservice.centenarycollege.edu/Student/Account/ Login

Click on “Student Finance” box.

Click on the arrow next to your name on the top right of the screen.

Click on “View/Add Person Proxy”.

Select a Proxy – Click on the down arrow next to the words “Please Select”. A choice of “Add Another User” will appear. Click on “Add Another User”.

Once you click on “Add Another user, the “Add proxy” form will appear. All lines with a red * are required and must be filled in. Completion, of the of the other lines, is are optional. Next check the box for Student Finance to select all access. Click the “Allow Complete Access” to allow access a areas of your billing account. If you do not wish to allow all access, you may select the access you wish the proxy to have “Account Activity”, “Account Summary” and/or “Make a Payment”. Next read the “Disclosure Agreement” then click the box at the bottom to authorize Centenary to disclose the information checked to the named proxy. Next click the “Search Button”. The system will conduct a search to see if the person you have named as proxy already has an account within Centenary’s student information system.

You will be required to reenter yor password to continue.

If the person you have added is not already in the Student Information System, you will see the search results above. By clicking continue, the person will be added to the system as a proxy for your account.

The next screen will list your active proxy(s) The next screen will list your active proxy(s). If you wish to add another proxy, click on the arrow next to “Please select” and select “Add Another User”. If you wish to edit proxy information or remove a proxy from your account, click on the “pencil” icon on the right.

With this access, you can view billing information and make payments. To access account information, please login at selfservice.centenaryuniversity.edu. If you have issues logging in, Centenary's Help Desk can help you at 908-852-1400 ext. 2000 or helpdesk@centenaryuniversity.edu. If you have questions or need assistance making a payment, please contact our Student Billing Office at 908-852-1400 ext.2245 or bursar@centenaryuniversity.edu. The following login name has been generated for your use at Centenary College. Login Name: “Proxy Username” The proxy will receive two emails. One will contain the proxy’s username as shown above. The other email will contain the proxy’s temporary password. The first time the proxy logs into their account, the proxy will be required to change their password.

Reminder in order for a proxy to log in to view your student billing activities and/or make a payment, they must log into the website: https://selfservice.centenarycollege.edu/Student/Account/Login ege.edu/Student/Account/Login

If the proxy has any questions regarding the charges and/or activities appearing on your billing ledger, they may contact the Student Billing Office at 908-852-1400 ext. 2245. If a payment did not process and you receive an error message, please contact the Bursar’s Office at 908-852-1400 ext. 2355 or 2365. The proxy authorization does no allow the proxy access to your financial aid award. If there are questions about the financial aid appearing on your billing ledger, you will need to contact the Financial Aid Office at 908-852-1400 ext. 2350. Unless you have completed a separate FERPA form in the Registrar’s Office.
