Notoceratops By Myles November 2011

My dinosaur is Notoceratops. Its name means southern horned face.

It looked like a dried out turtle It looked like a dried out turtle. It was as big as an elephant, it had an armored body, a parrot-like beak, and teeth in its cheeks.

It walked on 4 slow sturdy legs.

Its diet was cycads and other prehistoric plants.

It protected itself by living in a herd.

The fossils were found in Chabut, Argentina in 1918 by Augusto Tapia.

It had a hard, armored body.

It lived in the end of the Mesozoic age, in a prehistoric jungle filled with plants and bugs.
