ASI SOCIAL SECURITY SCHEME Mutual benefit scheme No Insurance Company involved Members contribute to help Aims & Objects of the Scheme: (a) To provide financial assistance to the member of the family of the deceased registered in the Scheme. (b) Promote academic/Social activities of ASI

ASI SSS Any life member of the ASI, below the age of 65 years The members who have joined this scheme before 30.11.17 are “FOUNDER MEMBERS” of this scheme. Scheme starts from 1st April 2017 Eligibility to claim will be after completion of Twenty four months from joining the scheme.

PREREQUISITES TO JOIN Fill up application form with specimen signatures of nominee with photos. Photocopies to be attached: a) Date of Birth b) PAN Card Copy c) ASI Membership Card

FORMAT OF PAYMENT ADMISSION FEES – ONE TIME AT ENTRY ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION - Every member compulsorily pays Rs 1000/- every year and shall continue to pay till death FRATERNITY CONTRIBUTION- Every member of the scheme shall pay a fraternity contribution of Rs.500/- per death (if any) for a continuous period of 25 years THERE IS NO CAPPING. IF 5 DEATHS IN THAT YEAR THEN HE PAYS 2500/- IF 15 IN SOME OTHER YEAR THEN HE PAYS 7500/-

ADMISSION FEES 1. Below 30 years Rs. 5,000/- 2. Between 30 to 35 years Rs. 6,000/- 3. Between 35 to 40 years Rs. 8,000/- 4. Between 40 to 45 years Rs. 10,000/- 5. Between 45 to 50 yrs Rs. 15,000 6. Between 50 to 55 yrs Rs. 20,000/- 7. Between 55 to 60 yrs Rs. 25,000/- 8. Between 60 to 65 yrs Rs. 30,000/-

HONORARY MEMBER Those who make payments for 25 years continuously need not make any further payment of Fraternity Contribution but will pay annual subscription of Rs 1000/- year. They will remain as honorary members of the scheme with all the benefits of an ordinary member.

CALCULATION DONE FOR 1000 MEMBERS FRATERNITY BENEFIT CALCULATION DONE FOR 1000 MEMBERS DEATH BENEFIT: SUPPOSE 5 DEATHS PER YEAR @500/- = 2500/ FOR EACH MEMBER   1000 MEMBERS= 1000 X 2500 = 25,00,000 (25 LAKHS) TOTAL AMOUNT WHICH ASI GETS 25,00,000 5 FAMILIES WILL GET = RS 5,00,000/- FIVE LAKHS ADMISSION FEES &ANNUAL CHARGE GOES FOR OFFICE MAINTAINENCE

LOYALTY BONUS Who remain member for 20 years and more Has paid all Annual Charges & DFC (death fraternity contribution). On successful completion of 20 years, member will be entitled to get 10% loyalty of their maturity amount and then 1% loyalty increases per year up to 25 years. Maximum loyalty will be 15%

CLAIM Documents like 1. Death certificate 2. Membership identity 3. City branch Secretary’s recommendation are only needed for claim. The admission fee will be refunded to the nominee/nominees/legal heirs, in case of death of a member before 1ST APRIL 2017

MEMBER’S DISQUALIFICATION Demand notice in the 3rd week of July showing the exact amount to be paid. The last date for payment without fine is 30th September every year, after that there will be a fine of Rs. 100/- per month If member does not make the payment within 90 days, a registered notice will be send at the members cost. The membership shall stand terminated if the member does not make the payment within 30 day of receipt of the notice
