Frank Schneemann, National University Working with the Drawing Toolbar Start a new PowerPoint presentation and save it under the name, Graphics We will use this presentation to practice using the items from the Drawing Toolbar. Create slides that demonstrate each of the skills presented in this lesson. Have Mr. Schneemann view your presentation or turn in on disk. Working with the Drawing Toolbar Frank Schneemann, National University This is the drawing toolbar In you can not see this toolbar, open the View Menu, select Toolbars, then select Drawing Run the mouse pointer over each button to view its function. Frank Schneemann, National University Start with a blank slide Click on the rectangle tool. Hold down the left mouse button and draw a rectangle. Click on the rectangle button again. This time hold down the Shift key while you draw and notice that you are able to draw a perfect square. Click on either of the shapes you have drawn. Frank Schneemann, National University Start a new slide. Draw four shapes. A rectangle, a square, an ellipse, and a circle.. Hold down the shift key while drawing an ellipse to produce a perfect circle. Select the rectangle by clicking on it. Click on the fill tool button and change its color. Do the same for the square. (Additional colors can be found by selecting “other colors” from the Fill Button) Click on the ellipse to select it. Hold down the Shift Key and click the circle. You have selected two items at once.
