“Edge” Discuss with people seated around you: First impressions/questions Significant lines Message

“Edge” silent Socratic Seminar Form a group of three. Receive butcher paper with “Edge” printed in the center. Ask questions to each other and discuss those questions in WRITING. Use underlining, arrows, and any other annotations in your discussion.

“Edge” silent Socratic Seminar Take a couple of minutes to review what you’ve written with your group. Take a couple of minutes to discuss what your seminar has added to your understanding of the meaning of the poem. Share #2 with class.
