How to use a ….. Microscope

Get to your work area Carry it very carefully with both hands Put one hand on the Arm Put the other hand under the base Arm Base

Setting up the specimen Place the slide on the mechanical stage Use the stage controls to adjust the position of the slide Stage controls Mechanical Stage

Light settings Plug in and turn on the illuminator Adjust the iris diaphragm to allow enough light into the specimen Illuminator Iris Diaphragm

What if I can’t see? Look through the eyepiece Start by slowly adjusting the coarse focus Finish by adjusting the fine focus Eyepiece Coarse Focus Fine Focus
