How to make MRS more visible Civil society and stakeholder involvement Project managers implementing EUSDR projects should inform general public on the projects' positive impacts on EUSDR objectives (information exchange) media marketing Spreading the information campaigns for general public and especially for the major stakeholders More financial resources for media campaigns as well as Concrete steps in the effective task work of the respected policy decision-takers

How to make MRS more effective

Main successes Outstanding response to START (2x) - project-oriented cooperation and communication, - improvement of the environment projects DRRIF (Danube Region Research and Innovation Fund) - elaboration as a flagship project within the PA7 of the EUSDR Inclusion into the Danube Transnational Programme

Main successes Achievement of coordination and information flow between the different players, including experts mobilisation of stakeholders modernisation of structures increased cooperation

Characteristics of MRS projects Relevant within Action Plan of the EUSDR For flagship projects: Real and substantial impact and transnational (at least two/three countries) Involves different partners/legal entities from several countries Includes civil society/NGOs/CSOs/experts/academia Provides of capacity building element & technical solution Is based on an integrated and/or territorial approach (if applicable) Relevant of other EU Strategies, e.g. EU2020 or SEE 2020, Territorial Agenda 2020), SEE2020 Generates added value for the region - proposes or ends up with concrete results that could be visible and evaluated by the civil society or concrete beneficiaries Would not have existed without the MRS
