Oral Communication Assignment 2: 10 minutes CRITERIA Analyze an oral communication lesson in an English language textbook. Use the following criteria: Is the structure of the lesson clear? Is the lesson related to the specific competence that should be developed? Are the students asked to experience and exercise real oral communication? How many students are actively involved in the lesson at any one time? What kind of resources/stimuli could be used in this lesson? Are they varied? 6th Grade Page 24 Page 28 Page 33 Oral Communication Assignment 2: 10 minutes Analyze one of these

Oral Communication Assignment 3 : 15 minutes Take the same specific competence and create your own speaking activity Write your plan out

Assignment 4 15 Minutes Types of Oral Activities : ASSIGNMENT Narrative presentation Informative presentation Simple interactions Discussions/conversations Brainstorming ASSIGNMENT Come up with one example for each type of an oral activity ( we have 5 groups , each group will be assigned to do one type ) When you are working on this task, consider: 1) Motivation: How is it entertaining? Interesting? Fun? Does it Create a Real Learning Situation ? 2) How is it inclusive? How do you get a lot of students involved? How do you monitor their work? 3) Remember the elements of Active Learning we previously discussed Assignment 4 15 Minutes
