The Rules, The Rules, The Rules of the Playground For the Shadow Lake Kindergarten Kind Hearts

We WALK to Recess. We walk with our hands and feet to ourselves. We finish eating our snack by the wall, then we can play.

The Fire Truck Use 2 hands to hold on. No Pushing!

The Turtle Always hold on to a bar! No upside down hanging.

Be safe. NO chasing games on, or around the big toy.

Always start on the black ring. One person at a time on a ring. The Rings Always start on the black ring. One person at a time on a ring.

The Big Toy Ladder Always hold on with 2 hands. Let your friend get to the top before you climb.

The Slide Go down the slide on your bottom, feet first. One friend at a time on the slide.

The Slide Only one person goes down at a time. We NEVER climb up the slides.

The Monkey Bars Start across the rings on the black ring. One friend at a time. Don’t run under the bars, be safe, go around.

Monkey Bars 2 Only one friend can be on a ring. We take turns!

The Green Wall We can throw or kick balls against the big green wall. We don’t kick balls over the top.

Recess Teachers Recess teachers wear bright orange vests. If you have any questions or problems during recess, talk to the recess teacher!

Recess Teachers If you need to go to the bathroom during recess, the recess teacher will write a pass for you.

Tiger Pole Line up Spot WALK to the Tiger Pole and STOP.

Line up time. When you hear one long toot on the whistle, put away all equipment, and line up in your special line-up spot! Make sure you have your coat!

Line up by the Tiger Pole. We line up each side of the tiger Tail. Boys side , Girls side. Hands and feet to ourselves. WAIT quietly for your teacher. Good work Kind Hearts!

Walk on the Sidewalk ALWAYS BE A KIND HEART to YOUR SELF, to YOUR FRIENDS AND to YOUR SCHOOL!
