The Golden Mean A means of … placement

What is the Golden Mean? Also known as the Golden Section - a composition tool for creating a visually pleasing image. To accomplish the Golden Mean, a ratio of 5:8 is used in positioning the subject of the photograph.

THE GOLDEN MEAN To fix the position of the horizon. 8 5 To divide a composition in pleasant proportions. To establish the location of the center of interest.
