Presentation transcript:

Sometimes we have a tornado drill at school.

First we hear the tornado alarm. It is really loud!

When I hear the alarm, I feel

We walk into the hall.

We get down on the floor and cover our heads.

No one move.

When the teacher says, “okay” we can move.

Take a deep breath.

I am safe.

When we have a drill, the tornado is pretend.

Drill is not a real tornado.

Tornado drills are a good idea! Means that we practice safety rules. Tornado drills are a good idea! The Picture Communication Symbols ©1981–2011 by Mayer-Johnson LLC. All Rights Reserved Worldwide. Used with permission. Boardmaker® is a trademark of Mayer-Johnson LLC.
