Let us pray together slowly Creator God, you created our planet, our galaxy, our universe. You invited humans to care for the earth from the beginning. You have given us powers to be creative too. Help us to be good stewards of the earth. Inspire us to find ways to end pollution and climate change. Amen+

Don’t worry about what you will eat or drink or what clothes you will wear. Life is worth more than what we eat or drink or wear.

Look at the birds in the air; they don’t plant seeds or save food in barns. But God feeds them. Aren’t you worth more to God than birds?

Why worry about what you are going to wear Why worry about what you are going to wear. Look at the wild flowers growing in the fields. They don’t make clothes for themselves. But they are more beautiful than a king or queen all dressed up in rich clothes. If God takes such good care of the wild flowers, you can be sure that God will take even better care of you.

So don’t worry about food and clothes So don’t worry about food and clothes. God knows that you need all those things. Have faith. Look first for God’s kingdom and being right with God. Then you will have all you need. The Gospel of the Lord. Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
