How to Review a GPS for Graduate Checking Training Presentation

How to Review a GPS for Graduate Checking Student’s Name, ID & Report Date. Verify Student’s Program and Catalog Year Information. Verify Student’s Academic Standing, Admit term and Standing.

How to Review a GPS for Graduate Checking Verify that the student’s GPA is above 3.0 and ensure that all Requirements are Satisfied.   Check all Graduate Policies to ensure there are no violating courses like in this example – These courses appear only when the student violates a rule. Here our student violated the 7 year policy which states that no course older than 7 years may be used to satisfy a requirement!

Please note that even though our Grad programs are similar, your student’s program may not be set up in exactly the same manner. How to Review a GPS for Graduate Checking Restricted Electives, those that require prior approval are listed here. Courses the student used to satisfy the Requirement will be listed in this section. Here’s an example of how Transfer Courses appear on your audit. Unrestricted Electives – This student needs 3 units of Unrestricted Electives to satisfy this requirement. Whenever a requirement is Not Satisfied, a list of potential courses that can be used to satisfy the requirement will be displayed as it does here unless otherwise noted.

How to Review a GPS for Graduate Checking The Course History lists every course the student has taken throughout his Graduate Career. It includes courses taken in which a grade was earned , courses the student is currently registered in and Transfer Courses that were accepted from other institutions.
