WHAT HAPPENS TO YOUR APPLICATION Submitted on line Goes to TAFE admissions Non Competitive courses are offered Applications for competitive courses are assessed Offers made to best applications Enrolment processes are emailed with offer. Unsuccessful applicants notified. Check with TAFE campus.

TAFE COURSES: non competitive All TAFE courses require a minimum level of literacy and numeracy. Literacy and Numeracy skills TAFE COURSES: non competitive Qualification being applied for SCHOOL LEAVER COURSE REQUIREMENTS AQF equivalent Certificate I Nil Certificate II OLNA or NAPLAN 9 Band 8 Certificate I or II Certificate III Certificate IV C grades in Year 11 WACE General English, and OLNA or NAPLAN 9 Band 8 Certificate II or III Diploma or Advanced Diploma Completion of WACE General or ATAR (minimum C grades) or equivalent

Competitive courses Applicants for competitive courses ALSO need to meet the Literacy and numeracy skills. Applicants who have met the first requirement will then be asked to provide evidence against the selection criteria. Selection Criteria = Maximum 90 points Academic achievement = 60 points + Work History = 30 points

Important dates 2019 Semester 1 Applications | Offers Applications for full-time study for Semester 1 2019 will open in September and close December 2018. Expressions of interest will accepted after the closing date. Generally offers for non competitive courses will be made September to January and competitive course offers will be made in January, with enrolments occuring mid to late January. Part-time enrolments do not require an application and will occur mid to late January.
