Who is Malala? Malala is… 18 years old From Pakistan At a young age Malala became an advocate for girls’ education. Her actions provoked the Taliban to issue death threats, and they shot her on her way home from school. She survived the shooting and has created the Malala Fund to help girls around the world get a quality education.

The Malala Fund Malala’s goal is to help girls worldwide complete 12 years of education. Click here for a short video & learn more!

What does this have to do with WACO? In the U.S. boys and girls have the protected right to an education. Our involvement helps girls across the world obtain an education. We can start bettering our world by educating the people in it.
