IDEA Infant and Toddler Coordinators Association (ITCA) Not-for-profit corporation promotes mutual assistance, cooperation, exchange of information and ideas in administration of Part C and provides support to state and territory Part C coordinators

Purpose of the Survey Need for knowledge of state data systems due to: Lack of national data regarding state data systems States’ use of ARRA funding to: Expand existing data systems; and Develop new systems

Survey Construct The Survey Questions were developed to address the following components: Data Infrastructure Data Collection Data Security Data Validation Data Analyses Staffing

Data Infrastructure All components that relate to the design, hardware and/or software, costs and development of data system, data management responsibilities.

Infrastructure Systems 47 of 49 respondents 43 using a state-level centralized data system 34 use a web-based data system

Reporting Capacity

Budget 35 of 46 respondents budget for data system maintenance 21 of 45 respondents have line item for data system enhancements 14 of 19 health , 7 of 12 education , 14 of 18 other
