French ongoing process to complete the Natura 2000 network Instruction from the government for the designation of Natura 2000 sites offshore Following : Natura biogeographical seminars (2009 and 2010) : → need to complete the network for habitat "Reef" , the bottlenose dolphin , harbor porpoises Knowledge development through several scientific programs (reefs, marine mammals and birds) : Reefs : MEDSEACAN/CORSEACAN in Med, CORALFISH in Atl Marine mammals : PACOMM et SAMM Definition of areas of ecological interest in which it is relevant to designate Natura 2000 sites
