FACTS Some examples from “Exploring the Titanic” that are facts are: “At noon on Wednesday, April 10, the Titanic cast off”. “Captain Smith was on duty in the bridge, so Bride handed the message to him. These are not facts: The Titanic was the best boat ever made. The Titanic was a fast ship to build.
Opinion The Titanic was the greatest ship in the world. The Titanic was very unsinkable. This ship was an easy ship to build. This ship had a horrible captain. The crew was not thinking straight.
