Supporting Bilingualism Encourage your child to stay connected to home culture and language ( through reading books, talking, watching TV, listening to music, family, etc. in native language). Encourage your child to improve on English skills as well (through reading books, talking, watching TV, listening to music, staying connected with school, friends, etc.). Plainfield Community School Corporation is dedicated to developing your child’s language needs both in their native language and in English!
