Meet Mrs. Papineau!!! By: David Cramer

School... Where did you go to college?I went to college at Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln for 1 and a half years and then I transferred to the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Do you like Beatrice Middle School? This is my first year working at BMS but so far I really like working here. The staff and students have been very nice to me. What was your favorite subject in school? I liked math in school, especially Algebra! Where did you go to high school at? I attended Lexington High School in Lexington, Nebraska. How else are you involved n this school system? I also work with kids who have speech and language problems. What was your favorite grade and who was your favorite teacher? 1st grade was my favorite grade because Mrs. Frahm was my favorite teacher. She made learning fun!! How did you change the classroom when you got here? I moved a couple book shelves to a different place in the room and put up some posters and a calendar! What convinced you to come to Beatrice Middle School? I was told that BMS was a good school to work in. The staff was nice and the students were great. The BMs building reminds me of the Middle School I went to.

Other Facts... Did you play an instrument? I took private guitar lessons when I was in 1st grade and then my teacher moved away so I switched and started taking piano lessons. I did not play any band instruments in school. Where are you from? I currently live on an acreage by Firth but I grew up in Lexington, Nebraska. How many brothers and sisters do you have? I am the oldest in my family. I have one younger sister and 2 younger brothers.

Do you work outside of teaching Do you work outside of teaching? I do work sometimes at the hospital in Beatrice! Do you have a job outside of school? I work as a speech Language Pathologist. I work with people who have had a stroke or a traumatic brain injury. Outside of school...
