The First Church Acts 2:42-47 The resurrection was a “Wow Event”… So was - day of Pentecost What made the early church so effective in reaching their world? They faithfully yielded to the power of the Holy Spirit Who worked in harmony with their dedication in the “little/daily” things.

How they did they do those things? “continued” Gal 6.9 “steadfastly” 1 Cor 15.58

There are thousands of men and women in our churches who know no more about the rich revelation of God in Jesus Christ than they did on that day long, long ago, when first they began to grasp that He was Savior of their souls. When I sometimes get glimpses into the utter Biblical ignorance of educated members of my own and other congregations, I am appalled.

Their hearts were ready and faithful, Their hearts were ready and faithful, Particularly, in 4 essential disciplines: The Truth The Tie The Table The Throne Why be faithful? Because of His love for us and in us. Are you committed daily to Him?
