Background Why a YPSP? Application process Established November 2015 12 members (9 branches) 6 meetings held Purpose of the panel Benefits to SDS and Panel Jen to lead on this slide Why panel was established

Key areas of development Involvement in branch committee’s Communication – best way? Sub groups - starting to shape at next meeting and have key outcomes for them Map out the next year for the panel Training Events Meetings/Residential? Link in with UK DIT Senior Pupils to raise awareness in schools LMc to lead on slide Key points: Some of members were nominated through branches – would be good to have YP involved in those committees and a link to the panel Subgroups – all have subgroup responsibility and will start to shape the outcomes for these at the meeting on Thursday

Impact of YPSP What has your biggest impact been from being part of the panel? Where do you see the panel having the biggest impact? JL to ask each what individual impact has been then each person to say what the biggest impact of the panel will be LMc – Getting more young people involved in sport CM – Educating YP on Disability Spory HG – Being the voice for YP and raising awareness
