Early College Experience Associate of Arts Degree Program Associate of Science Degree Program

Program Highlights Attend classes one-half day on the NWACC Campus Earn an associate degree and high school diploma upon graduation Attend classes one-half day on the NWACC Campus Drastically reduced cost to students and families

Program Highlights Fifty slots for students in 2016-2017 school year Rogers Public Schools will pay tuition for students in the program (Students pay for dropped classes) Students and families will buy/rent textbooks Morning or afternoon classes to accommodate other coursework or extracurricular activities

Program Highlights Course sequence fulfills NWACC associate degree requirements RHS counselors will work to ensure all high school graduation requirements are met through course sequence Courses on NWACC Campus utilize a Monday/Wednesday and Tuesday/Thursday course schedule

Program Highlights Courses do not meet at NWACC Campus on Fridays On Fridays- RHS students will be required to be on the NWACC or RHS Campus for library, computer, research, or study opportunities during the time in which they normally have college classes Students still required to be at RHS classes on Fridays

Requirements Must meet NWACC admission requirements Additional guidelines or application/interview process may be developed to ensure students are prepared for the workload and responsibilities associated with the program AM students will provide their own transportation to NWACC associate degree courses PM students will provide their own transportation home from NWACC associate degree courses

Program Details Shuttle bus will be provided in the middle of day to drop off PM students and pick up AM students Authentic college experience Students enrolled in sections with “regular” college students NWACC Office of High School Relations will work with each high school to supply information on students progress and attendance in associate degree courses
