The Asteroid Mining Company Origionaly known as Arkyd Astronautics. Renamed Planetary Resources in 2012. Long term goal has always been asteroid miming. The company started out making small, coast-effective, space telescopes for earth observation and astronomy.

Planetary Resources aims to start a robotic asteroid mining industry. First step will be to survey and analyze possible mining sites through in earth orbit satellites.
