Portman Livewire User Guide

Livewire Login Page This is the log in page where you will be asked to enter your user name and password. If you have forgot your password you can use the ‘Forgot your password’ link. The online helpdesk telephone number is displayed at login, if any assistance is required.

Home Page When you log in you will be taken to the Home page. Under the Services option you will find links to other services that will assist you with your booking. When you log in you will be taken to the Home page.   From here you can select your traveller, choose which element of travel you require or update user profiles.

Air Booking

Air Booking You can change your preselected traveller by using the option next to the workflow. The workflow can be found to the right hand side of the screen. When booking Air you have the option to select either return, or one way. The workflow to the right hand side of the page gives you an overview of your current booking selection. You can also search using ‘additional search criteria’ by clicking on show – this will then allow you to enter a particular airline.

Search Results Any logos that you are unsure of can be easily identified by hovering over the icon. Any fare option shown with a red ‘thumbs down’ icon is out of policy. The filter on the left hand side of the page will allow you to change your search criteria and narrow down your results. You will be able to see all available flights that match your search criteria on this page.

Search Results The two columns listed as ‘Change’ and ‘Refund’ give a quick overview of whether the fare is changeable or refundable. The top of the page will summarise the flights you have selected and underneath you will be given a full list of economy fares. You can also click on to the business tab to see the business class fares available.   By clicking on the ‘i’ icon under the fare column you will find all the fare rules. We would always advise to read through these fully before confirming any bookings.

Finalise Trip You have the option to ‘complete this booking’ or book this and add car, hotel or another air booking. Once you have selected the required flights and fare you should continue to the end of the booking process and complete all mandatory information. Once you complete the booking you will be given a reference number and an email confirmation.

Confirm Booking If you are making another booking using the same flight information, you will also have the option to Copy Booking. This is shown below Additional Options, on the right side of the screen. Once you have confirmed the booking, the screen will refresh and your booking confirmation will show.   Once you complete the booking you will be given a reference number and an email confirmation.
