7th Grade Field Trip Lexington Legends Game

Explain Activity We will be going on a attendance field trip to a Lexington Legends baseball game. We will eat a lunch provided by the Legends.

Why Is It A Good Place To Go? Minor league baseball games are a very fun place to go. This trip could be used as an incentive for students to pass classes, as an attendance or behavior incentive, or as a combination of any of these things. This would be a great outing for all of us.

Activity Cost Tickets are $14 per person (which includes a lunch provided by the Legends) 170 students + 10 chaperones + 4 bus drivers = 184 people 184 people * $14 = $2576

Bus Cost Mileage Cost: $1.43 per mile 91 miles round trip * 1.43 per mile * 4 buses = $520.52 Bus Driver Cost: $13.30 per hour per driver $13.30 * 6 hours * 4 drivers = $319.20 Total Bus Cost: $520.52 + $319.20 = $839.72

Total Cost Activity Total = $2576 Bus Total =$839.72 Grand Total = $2576 + $839.72 =3415.72 Cost Per Person $3415.72 / 170 students = $20.09
