Winter Weather Safety

Signs posted at facility entrances that indicate icy conditions. Winter Weather Driving Is Your Vehicle Ready? Wipers? Tires? Lights? Winter road conditions require your extra attention. Stay off the phone, drive at a safe and legal speed. Walking Avoid carrying large objects/packages. These may obstruct your view or cause you to lose your balance. Wear appropriate footwear. It is recommended that when wet/icy conditions exist, employees wear slip-resistant footwear with no heals. Report icy conditions to security 893-3300 May sound funny, but Walk like a Penguin Signs posted at facility entrances that indicate icy conditions.

Winter Safety Awareness Report unsafe conditions of the sidewalks and parking lot to Site Security at 412-893-3300. Our outdoor maintenance service contractor is very proactive and aggressive at maintaining our sidewalks and parking areas. They strive to have sidewalks and the parking lot clear before start of business daily. Should conditions change rapidly on site, our Facility Services Team Members will assist in ensuring employee safety.
