“The High Cost of Having Fun” [page 535] ISSUE: high cost of tickets to sporting events. AUTHOR’S POSITION: The cost is too high. REASONS AND EVIDENCE: Statistics about the cost of tickets; costs passed on to the fans; only for wealthy people. EVALUATE THE EVIDENCE: There is no information about sponsor cost and how much money is needed to maintain lower ticket prices.
