CAT
Introduction The Common Admission Test (CAT) is a computer based test held in India. Before 2009, CAT was a paper based test conducted for all candidates. Later it was announced that CAT would be a Computer Based Test starting from 2009. The test is conducted every year by one of the IIMs based on a policy of rotation.

Eligibility Criteria Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks . Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification are also eligible to apply. No age limit for CAT examination.
Exam Pattern & Syllabus Some questions in each section may not be multiple choice type. Use of basic on-screen calculator is allowed. Candidates will be allotted 60 minutes to answer questions in each section. Question paper is divided into three sections.
