Confirmation II Sponsor Requirements Goal of a Sponsor in Confirmation: To assist your parents/guardians as you become an adult in the church. Your sponsor will help you lead a Christian life in fulfilling the promises made at your baptism. When selecting a Sponsor, remember the Diocese’s requirements: A minimum of 16 years old Be a confirmed Catholic, receives the Eucharist, and leads a life of faith. Be in good standing with the church, free from canonical penalty legitimately imposed or declared Someone other than your parents Confirmation I and II must select a Sponsor and complete the Confirmation Sponsor Certification form by December 9th. Please turn in to Ms. Kelsey at class.
