iViewPlus Mental Health Cube Demo Presented by Carl Money, Principal Information Analyst, Community and Mental Health Team

What is iViewPlus? A free to use interactive data visualisation tool allowing users quick and easy access to health and social care data. It enable users to query and visualise a wide range of data relating to both NHS and Social Care activity The ability for users to create and share their own personalised data visualisation dashboards is one of many unique features of this new system.

Background Summer 2015 NHS Digital look to develop a successor to the existing iView system (iViewPlus) in order to meet current and future reporting needs. An online data visualisation tool For members of the public and healthcare professionals Allows free access to a range of Health and Social Care data held by NHS Digital. Flexible and interactive System went live at the beginning of 2016 with data from the new Maternity Services Data Set.

Intended initial reporting from the MHSDS within iViewPlus Led by CYP-MH analysis team, we are developing a reporting cube from MHSDS. Users will be able to explore information about referrals and people at different geographies and reporting periods. Users will be able to look at this information by a variety of demographics, such as age, gender, primary reason for referral
