TRINITY COLLEGE DUBLIN

TRINITY COLLEGE Trinity College is widely considered to be the most prestigious university in Ireland.. Originally it was established outside the city walls of Dublin in the buildings of the outlawed Catholic Augustinian Priory of All Hallows. Trinity College is now surrounded by Dublin and is located on College Green, opposite the historic Irish Houses of Parliament. The college proper occupies 190,000 m2 (47 acres).

THE BOOK OF KELLS The book gets its name from the monastery of Kells, County Meath, Ireland. It was created sometime around the year 800.. It is believed that this book was made for display and ceremonial use, not to be read out loud. The Book of Kells is 13 inches wide and 10 inches high. It consists of 340 folios made from calfskin vellum.
