Who was the Explorers? Based on what I read, On July 16th 1769 the San Diego Mission was found by Juan Rodrigues. The San Diego Mission de Alcala is the first of all missions. In total, there is 21 missions. For thousands of years the Indian tribe lived in California . That tribe was the one that named the church. The church means’’ Mother of all missions.’’

What The Tribe Did? Based on what I read, The Indians were friendly and giving. And they were very peaceful. The tribe liked to talk in Spanish and they practiced Christianity. There tribes name means ‘’Diegueno.’’ Which mean a member of the Indian tribe. There job was to hunt animals, to make houses out of branches, and use animal skins.

Attacks the San Diego Mission Had In 1769 February 16 they thought they were going to be attack. A few days later they got attack on there mission. Some people died and some people lived. They fix everything that was broken. The good thing is that just a little bit of people died. They got attack by the English Colony of Virginia.

What They Had To Eat Based on what I read, they got to eat barley, corn ,beans, peas, lentils, broad beans, meat ,berry, and deer. They always thought of sweet recipe. One of the name of the recipe is Dulce de Calabaz. For example, in one recipe they mix barley with beans. They tasted it to make sure it was good. If it was they eat it.

The Location The location is in 10818 San Diego , Rd, San Diego California 92108. It was founded in July 16, 1769 is area along the coast of California. This mission was the first mission in California. The mission was later moved to its present location , six miles East of the hills.

Concluding This is all the information I can gather up. You have actually learned about a lot like: the explorer, the tribe ,what the mission people ate , where the mission was located, and the attack. You also learned how they were and what they did. That is are Mission which is called “San Diego de Alcala.”
