We all establish who we are – our credit score so to speak We all establish who we are – our credit score so to speak. Our reputation. WHO AM I?

Integrity Trust Approachable Impact Accountable Loyalty Engaged Competent Encourage Legacy Opportunity Elevate Mentor Energize These characteristics make me and you who we are.

INTEGRITY Are your actions consistent with words? If you don’t have integrity you won’t achieve it. You will be known for your words and your actions. People know when you are authentic.

TRUST Trustworthy – can you be trusted? Who are you when no one else is around?

Accountable – do you own your share of the responsibility Accountable – do you own your share of the responsibility? Do you show up to matches on time? Do you let your assignor know why you had to turn back a match you accepted? ACCOUNTABILITY

LOYALTY Loyalty – will you go to bat for others? Do you throw your partner under the bus or stand by them?

APPROACHABLE Approachable – what do you do when a coach speaks to you? Do you hide or are you open? Acknowledge statements, respond to questions.

Role Model/Mentor – we are all role models, we are all being watched Role Model/Mentor – we are all role models, we are all being watched. Who are/were your mentors? Most probably didn’t have a big platform (teacher, family member, co-worker, patient) Sometimes we don’t’ realize the effect we have on others. ROLE MODEL (Mentor)

Legacy – is a composite of many things (character, faith, actions, relationships, impact and involvement). Will it be positive or negative? Are you adding value to people’s lives? LEGACY

ENGAGE Engaged/involved – Dare to Care (about other officials, coaches, players and the game) ENGAGE

If you don’t give your best, you’ll have cheated yourself.

IMPACT Impact –Not everyone will have the same impact. Are you making lives better? “If you can’t feed a hundred people…..

….. then feed just one.” Mother Teresa

COMPETENT Competence doesn’t mean you have all the answers; but you do have skills, knowledge and ability. Can you explain why one way may be better than another? Change – Do you continue to develop knowledge and skill to be the most competent person you can be?

ENERGIZE Energize – inspire and motivate others

Elevate – It’s not about getting the credit; it’s about helping the organization and everyone in it.

OPPORTUNITY Unexpected opportunities – chance meeting, unexpected introduction, someone in need – a chance to make a difference

Encourage – “It’s not just in tough situations that people need encouragement. Even when things are going smoothly, it’s important to build people up.” Who benefits from discouragement? ENCOURAGE

There is always someone whose life we can affect – even if we aren’t aware of it at the time.

Who am I?
