LEVERAGING PARTNERSHIPS TO MAXIMIZE EMPLOYMENT Indiana operates under the “housing first” model placing individuals and families in housing while they work on accomplishing goals designed to help them maintain that housing.

LEVERAGING PARTNERSHIPS TO MAXIMIZE EMPLOYMENT HIP has made connections with multiple companies in the community that are excited about working with our veterans.

LEVERAGING PARTNERSHIPS TO MAXIMIZE EMPLOYMENT HIP’s connections to employers in the fields of security, technology, construction, medical, warehouse, hospitality and the food industry allows our veterans to have a wide range of employment opportunities.

LEVERAGING PARTNERSHIPS TO MAXIMIZE EMPLOYMENT HIP makes connections where there is a need for the types of skills our veterans have as well as where the wages can support families in maintaining their housing.

LEVERAGING PARTNERSHIPS TO MAXIMIZE EMPLOYMENT HIP continues to look for ways to connect with employers who need skilled workers and can provide that “right now job” to assist in ending veterans’ homelessness.

LEVERAGING PARTNERSHIPS TO MAXIMIZE EMPLOYMENT Community connectedness provides an opportunity to further engage resources that are essential for the veterans continued well-being.

LEVERAGING PARTNERSHIPS TO MAXIMIZE EMPLOYMENT Connecting with agencies, organizations and other community resources allows HIP to provide the best support and options for our homeless veterans in maintaining their employment and therefore their housing.

LEVERAGING PARTNERSHIPS TO MAXIMIZE EMPLOYMENT Participating on various committees, being an integral part of the Continuum of Care (CoC), attending Vet Court and partnering with the Veterans Administration is part of HIP’s mission to “…assist all people in Marion County in achieving holistic health”.
