CCP03 Background History Mainframe applications supporting DRIS function have proven reliability and performance to support decennial activities Future systems architecture will leverage Oracle RDBMS in places where mainframe computing has been used Initial efforts to convert specific business functions to Oracle have failed to provide required performance, and have negative implications to adoption strategy for new technology CCP03 chartered to conduct POC on specific functions (NRFU) in support of Oracle adoption effort for DRIS team

Major Tasks for RPS… Data Conversion Census 2000 T13 data to Universal Response Database Schema Post external interface data import and processing Preceding data to be used to refine the RPS table design URdbS response data tables will be further utilized as input to derive processing component metrics. Performance and tuning will be done for RPS applications.
