Early life Have you ever heard about Martin Scorsese? I don’t think so. Martin Charles Scorsese was born on November 17, 1942. He is one of my favorite filmmakers and his movies encouraged me to become a filmmaker myself when I grow up. Martin is an American movie director and producer. He won an Academy Award 7 times. His dad (Charles Scorsese) was an actor and a cloth presser, and his mom (Cathrine Scorsese) was an actress. Nothing special about his family. Martin was a cute little boy who couldn’t do any sports because he had asthma. His older brother took him to the theater when he was young. His love for movies grew stronger day after day. So, Martin decided to become a famous filmmaker of New York City. When he was a teenager, he enjoyed reading, “Tales of Hoffman” which inspired him to write his own books that later became a scenario for actors.

Early career In 1966 he entered New York University Tisch of The Artists. Martin began making short movies that weren’t popular, but his film professor found them unique and gave him his first filmmaking job. He entered the squad of filmmakers and they all produced drama movies.

Martin Nowadays Nowadays Scorsese is a famous movie director and he has a new upcoming movie is called “Silence”. I can’t wait to see it. I hope it’ll be quite interesting.

Family Martin, himself has been married five times (Laraine Marie Brennan, Julia Cameron, Isabella Rossellini, Barbara De Fina, Helen Schermethorn Morris). But the longest marriage was with Helen Morris. Leonardo Dicaprio is one of the favorite Martin’s actor and he’s been filmed 5 times On Martin’s movies.

Conclusion The reason why I chose Martin Scorsese is that he is one of my favorite filmmakers and I, myself want to be like him when I grow up. M.Scorsese’s movies encourage me me to become a filmmaker, I mean he inspires me to have new ideas for videos. I hope the new upcoming movie is going to be interesting to watch.
