What is the ACF? It’s a national youth organisation sponsored by the Army. You do not have to join the army after your time in cadets is over. Our aim is to inspire young people to achieve.

What can the ACF do for you? Recognised Qualifications ILM, BTEC National navigation Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme- First Aid skills and qualifications Ten Tors Challenge-35 &45 Mile teams Progressive syllabus of training International Exchanges

Different Activities We Do: Fieldcraft Navigation Expedition Training First Aid Adventurous Training Cadet in the Community Drill Skill At Arms Shooting

If you want to try it out: We meet every TUESDAY evening between 19:00-21:00 at the Detachment Hut. Why not come along and try us out for a guaranteed actioned packed adventure. We offer a 4 week trial period. If you want to join the Army Cadets £1 a week £30 – kit and administration costs (one off) £10 weekend camp £90 Summer Camp / Belgium / France
