Declaration of Intent to Compete Submit by January 31st for Events between January 1st and August 31st Submit by June 1st for Events between September 1st and December 31st
FEI Rider & Horse Registration Done through the Equestrian Canada Online FEI Registration Portal Horses need to be micro-chipped before completing the registration Riders need to be Platinum Sport Licence holders to use the registration portal
Horses need to be micro-chipped before applying for either Passport options: #1 – EC National Passport Good for 1 & 2 * in Canada Cost $150 Does not expire Needs to be validated by EC after the horse has had 2 Influenza Vaccinations so applying early enough is critical #2 - FEI Passport Application Good for all levels of FEI competition within anywhere in the world Cost is $348 Expires every 4 years Horses need to be micro-chipped before applying for either
