This booklet is to help you achieve your Explorer badge. Hey Beavers, This booklet is to help you achieve your Explorer badge. All you need to do is to complete all the tasks in the booklet and once finished hand back to your beaver colony leader. Also use the bag provided to collect items that you find on your adventure around Paradise Wildlife Park so that you can show to your colony and talk about your adventure after. NAME: COLONY NAME:

LEAF PRINTING WHILST YOU’RE EXPLORING THE WOODLANDS, WHY NOT COLLECT SOME LEAVES, SO THAT YOU CAN USE THEM TO PRINT IN THE AREA BELOW. INSTRUCTIONS Hold a leaf by its stem and paint on one side only Lay the leaf (paint side down) on a sheet of paper Cover the leaf with a sheet of old newspaper and gently rub Remove the newspaper and leaf to reveal the leaf print Use different leaves to make a collage of leaf prints
