Goal Setting And Decision Making For Yourself

Two Types of Goals: Long Term Goal is a goal that might take months or years to achieve. Short Term Goal is a goal that can be quickly reached in a few days or weeks.

Trade off is something that you give up in order to get something more important. Alternatives are other choices.

Setting Realistic Goals By setting them your goals should be… Specific – You will have something to work on Realistic – You can reach your goals Evolving – You can change your plans if needed

Challenging – You will stay interested Organized – You know which goal to work on first

Decision Making Decisions are choices you make in your life. There are different way of decisions Planned decisions are when you weigh all the facts down before making a choice. Default Decisions is when you let someone else make the decision Impulse decisions is when you take the first alternative available
