Journal #1 – Self Assessment

Journal #1 – Self assessment Take a look over your self assessment brochure… This brochure is all about you. It details your personal history, your personality, your values and beliefs, your individual intelligence/ability, your emotional intelligence as well as includes a personal statement about what you enjoy as well as what you would like to study if you had enough money to do so. If is definitely all about you. As you reflect on all of these self assessments, consider the following questions: - Have you ever considered all of these parts of who you are? Did you find it helpful? Eye opening? - What did you learn about yourself? - What did you confirm for yourself that you already knew? - How do you think this will help with your career search/career discovery? What types of jobs do you know you’d be good at, and which do you know you’d have to avoid? - How do you think this will help you in other ways? Relationships? School work? Friendships?
