District 8 Typical Consultant Usage/Trends Assistance on common pre-letting and post-letting tasks to meet the demands of work load peaks and special projects (surveying, pre-design, design, inspection, etc.) Assistance on large or specialty tasks (Planning and corridor studies, EAs/EISs, etc.) $1.3M annual set-aside for P/T contracts Set-aside generally covers… normal program peaks and CO office contracts (environmental, historical, mapping, etc.) Similar types of work on special program projects (ARRA, BR4MN, CoC, MAP-21, Hwy 23 gaps, etc.) that often come with P/T contract funding Also utilize CO funding for planning and corridor studies, or other “Non-SRC” eligible work
