HOMEROOMS - Homeroom time ranges from 7:45 to 8:12. - This isn’t instructional time and students may go to breakfast, do errands, or meet with other teachers.

3 important things to help your student be successful this year. 1. Supplies. Please check to make sure that your student has the supplies that they need. Supplies such as pencils, glue sticks, paper, and colored pencils should be replenished as needed. These are on sale now! Stock up! 2. Attendance. Your child needs to be in school to be successful. If they are not here, they lose valuable instruction time. We realize that students do get sick, but please encourage your child to attend school. We will make every effort to keep your child in class once they arrive at school.

3. Missing or make-up work 3. Missing or make-up work. Please encourage your student to complete work when it is assigned. Students who do not complete homework will complete it during silent lunch. If a child is absent, they will have to make up all missing classwork and homework in a timely manner in addition to regular assigned work. It is their responsibility to get missing work turned in to the appropriate teacher.

Homework Homework is assigned to prepare students for the following day. Therefore, it is only useful if completed when assigned. Homework turned in one day late will received partial credit. Late homework not turned in after a reasonable time period will receive a “0” for the assignment.

Rewards for positive behavior Cab cards: students who receive all A’s or A’s & B’s will receive a cab card. Best Cards: Students who complete homework on time and behave well will be able to earn a weekly reward. Fun night: 4 times this year students who has not received a discipline report will be able to attend fun night.

We’re looking forward to a great 2015-2016 school year We’re looking forward to a great 2015-2016 school year! See you next Wednesday!
