Welcome to English 4 Mrs. Bly Room 323 DIRECTIONS: Pick a seat where you can learn the best I will be making a seating chart today. Be bold; sit by someone you don’t know yet! If you need to be near the board, sit near the board. DO NOT sit on the COUCH. You DO NOT need to turn in your phone to the phone caddy today. Welcome to English 4 Mrs. Bly Room 323

I take attendance using the phone caddy I take attendance using the phone caddy. Your pocket number will be the same number as the class roster. I will post the class rosters on the wall so you can check your number. For the next few weeks, your number may change as students switch classes You will need to check to make sure you put it in the correct pocket. You may lose participation points if you phone is not in the correct pocket. (Not to mention I may count you absent) SO, YES, I do use the phone caddy! The couch is used only in group work and by permission. It is not an assigned seat. Attendance= Phones

JOURNAL You will need to purchase a journal JOURNAL You will need to purchase a journal. We will journal almost every day. If you like to write, choose a college-ruled journal. If you don’t like to write, pick a wide-ruled journal. The rule is that you have to finish the entire page. If you never get a journal and use a spiral notebook, then you will have A LOT of writing to do! DUE FOR POINTS ON 8/29 & 8/30 Binder with dividers and paper Pen/pencil (+coloring pencils and/or markers) Class supplies

You will not be allowed to use your car as your locker this year. You will not be allowed to go to the parking lot unless you are leaving campus Pick a locker if you haven’t picked one already. You will need a locker to keep your school supplies & books during the day Get a LOCKER
